A New Year

January 11th, 2012

Isn’t it interesting how we humans mark time. And the New Year celebration seems to have special significance for many of us. It is both a time for reflection and for anticipation. It can be a new beginning, a relatively clean slate upon which to draw our future plans and goals.

I sense that 2012 will be a good year for our country and for us as a people. After several years of concern and anguish by many, there are signs that our economy is stabilizing and moving in a positive direction, albeit slowly.

I also suggest to you that this is the time to make that investment you have been considering. Interest rates are at historic lows, and property values in general are lower. If the investment being considered is a renovation or addition to an existing property, now is the time. I believe there is pent-up demand that will translate into a stronger market. Witness the most recent national retail sales figures.

Happy New Year! May it be a prosperous one for you and your family!
